The Fardriver ND72450 is a powerful aluminum motor controller with up to 450A phase current, designed for electric vehicles with 2–4 kW motors. It offers sine wave driving for smooth operation, is waterproof, and supports regenerative braking. The Hall version is standard and is therefore suitable for motors with Hall sensors. This is our most extreme motor controller and can deliver power on par with light motorcycles. Like our other motors, this one is optimized for a good balance between acceleration and speed at 72V, but here the smaller rim provides higher efficiency and thereby higher torque throughout the entire acceleration than the 26" bicycle-tire variant of the same motor. The motor has a durable construction with 142 mm dropout, which leaves room for a single speed freewheel. It is disc brake compatible. Perfect for mopeds and other electric vehicles where power and reliability are crucial. Recommended for power output up to a full 10 000W peak.
