Hub motor in 26" rim
35H direct-drive hub motor in a 26" rim with large stator, high torque, and top speed above 60 km/h. Quiet, robust, and easy to install.
Sine-wave controller (FOC)
Votol EM-50-4 with sine-wave control (FOC) for smooth, quiet, and efficient acceleration and operation. Torque-based throttle control.

Throttle
Choose thumb throttle or twist throttle.

About battery and charger
The battery and charger are included in the kit but are ordered separately from our partner LiVerkstaden when placing your kit order and indicating that you want a battery. After your order, LiVerkstaden sends an invoice, and once payment is received the battery is shipped to you. This ensures you get a newly produced, quality-tested battery pack with full warranty from a producer in Sweden.

What you need beyond the kit
GBIKE 1 is a conversion kit. You need a base bike to build on, plus a few mechanical parts for a complete electric vehicle.
A donor bike
The base you build the kit on
You choose which base vehicle you want to convert. It can be a mountain bike, a sturdy hybrid, or something else entirely. Most important is that the frame can handle the load, the brakes are good enough, and you have room for the battery.
Tip: A sturdy frame with hydraulic brakes and standard suspension is ideal. Carbon fiber and ultra-light road bikes are not recommended.
Mechanical parts
For the rear wheel
The hub motor replaces your rear wheel, so you need new parts for the wheel
- Tire (26 inches)
- Tube
- Rim tape
- Freewheel (6 to 7 cogs)
- Shifter (if you change the number of rear cogs)
- Brake rotor (if you cannot reuse the old one)
